The 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup being held in Canada saw an epic clash between the Falconets of Nigeria and England's U-20 side. The game which was held at the Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta was watched by scores of Nigerians and other Africans who came out to support the Falconets.

The Falconets won by two goals to one - the first of which was a spectacular goal by Nigeria's Loveth Ayila (the best player of the game). The celebration of the victory culminated in a post game dinner that was attended by the players, team officials, delegation from the Nigerian High Commission in Ottawa, and a large number of the Falconets' teeming supporters.

The dinner which was hosted by the Nigerian-Canadian Association of Alberta (Edmonton Chapter) was held at Koultures Afro-Continental Restaurant.
